Our Stable
Our stables are located just outside Essaouira, in a quiet area where the ocean breeze meets the countryside. It’s a simple and welcoming place, designed for the comfort of our horses and the peace of our guests. Before each ride, visitors can spend time at the stables getting to know the horses, feeling their calm energy, and preparing for the journey. We like to keep an authentic atmosphere, where nature and animals are always at the center.
Our Horses
The heart of Essaouira HorseRiding lies in our horses. Most of them are Berber or Arab-Berber, strong, resistant, and noble breeds that are part of Morocco’s tradition. They are well-trained, balanced, and accustomed to riding across beaches, dunes, and open countryside, making them suitable for both beginners and experienced riders.
Among them, Eki and Amir stand out as two of our closest companions, each with their own character and story. They represent the bond we build with all our horses; a relationship based on trust, respect, and daily care. Alongside them, our stables are home to other wonderful horses, each bringing their own personality and spirit. Together they form a diverse and harmonious herd, allowing every guest to connect with the right horse for their ride.
Ali
Ali was born in Dakhla, a town in the south of Morocco, and has spent many years in Essaouira, where horses have always been part of his life. From a very young age, he started working with them, driven by a natural passion and deep respect. Over the years, he has gained a unique knowledge of the animals and the local landscapes, making every ride not only safe but also authentic and full of local spirit.
His calm character and deep connection with the horses help guests feel at ease, whether they are experienced riders or trying it for the first time. Today, Ali is the one who guides the rides, welcomes guests at the stables, and ensures every experience is warm and memorable.
Marta
Marta is from the Basque Country, in northern Spain. With a background connected to education, she has always enjoyed sharing knowledge and working closely with people. Animals have been an important part of her life, and in Essaouira she discovered the perfect place to bring together her passion for teaching, her love for horses, and the beauty of nature. Her role is to make everything run smoothly behind the scenes: managing bookings, organizing schedules, and staying in touch with clients through Instagram and other channels. She enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere from the very first contact, making guests feel part of something special even before they arrive at the stables.
Together
Ali and Marta complement each other, combining local knowledge, passion, and organization. While Ali is out in the field sharing authentic experiences with the horses and the landscapes of Essaouira, Marta works to ensure that every detail is cared for. Together, they form the heart of Essaouira HorseRiding, creating a project that is both professional and deeply personal; where every ride becomes a memorable story.
